This week we:
*played Bananagrams and Around the World with multiplication and division facts
*worked on fundraiser pieces in Art
*practiced for the NECAPS which start next MONDAY!
*finally had PE class for the second time
*learned how to solve math problems using the Guess and Check method, we tried to write problems that used that method. It was HARD!
*worked on xylophones, and learned the pentatonic scale!
*more and more people are passing math fact tests on www.xtramath.org
*created factor sheets for number 1-50. We will be looking for patterns.
*All of the post cards we sent have been received, so we will be receiving postcards soon!
*earned Frankie the Fire bear for our fabulous fire drill work
*elected Ben and Jessie for our student council representatives this term

*worked on a Writing of the Week assignment. We learned about introductions, details, and conclusions in paragraphs

*practiced observing a specific spot on the playground
*had our first instrument lessons
